Pettifer Estates were given the go ahead in August 2005 for a major residential scheme in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire.

The 20-acre site, overlooking the River Avon has detailed planning for 193 houses and apartments, 12 affordable units, and a 75 unit frail and elderly scheme for Hanover Housing Association. Pettifer Estates have sold the private housing element the scheme to Miller Homes who are currently on site and their first phase of housing is due for completion by late summer 2007.

Pettifer have retained the land for the frail & elderly scheme and their sister company, Pettifer Construction, are currently building the £7.8m Hanover scheme which will be a mixture of 50 apartments and 25 bungalows. The flagship development has attracted £4m of grant funding and will be developed on a two-acre site at the southern end of the development.
