Having exhausted the capacity of its premises on the outskirts of Cheltenham, File & Data Storage (FDS) engaged Pettifer Estates to identify a site for a major storage facility.

A £3m high-tech premises with 1.25 million cu ft housing state-of-the-art mechanical storage and retrieval system was planned, designed and built on 2.5 acres of land at Ashchurch Parkway Trading Estate. The location offeres the widest possible geographical area for FDS to serve the Midlands, South Wales and the South West.

The whole building was signed as a turnkey project and delivered on the due date in October 2005 opening for operation summer 2006.

Pettifer Estates have since sold their 42,000 sq ft warehouse let to FDS to a private investor. Wareing & Co acted for Pettifer in the sale.
